Claudia Leah | Lead Designer

When Claudia Leah moved from Germany to Naples, she brought more than a suitcase. She carried with her a lifetime of design influences—growing up with a mother who was a master tailor, an architect father, a grandfather who was an expert carpenter, and education at Parsons School of Design in France. Travel through Europe, Asia, Africa, India, and the Caribbean gave her a deep appreciation for how culture, architecture, and craftsmanship shape the way people live. Those experiences continue to inspire every project she leads today.

Claudia and her husband bought their Decorating Den Interiors franchise over 18 years ago with one bold goal: to bring world-class design to Naples, delivered with the personal attention and professionalism homeowners deserve. What began with a vision to serve 20 clients in their first year has grown to over 400 projects and a reputation as one of America’s foremost decorating professionals.

Claudia is a renowned award-winning decorator in Naples with international training, recognized for her expertise in color, custom window treatments, and space planning. She holds a rare certification as a window treatment specialist, personally oversees every installation, and has earned multiple design and sales awards. Her work is published regularly, and she has served on the board of the Naples Interior Design Society and Business Network International.

Natalie | Design Assistant

Natalie is the Design Assistant at Claudia Leah Design, bringing creativity, curiosity, and a strong artistic foundation to every project. She graduated in 2023 from Florida Southern College with a BFA in Studio Art and a minor in Art History.

At CLD, Natalie supports the design process by sourcing products, building virtual floor plans, coordinating with clients and vendors, and assisting with the many details that bring each project together. With a background as a freelance illustrator and character designer for animation, she brings a keen eye for color theory, composition, and texture, skills that translate beautifully into interior design.
Natalie loves seeing how thoughtful selections evolve into finished spaces over time and takes pride in contributing to homes that feel both personal and enduring.

Cheryl Castorino | Office Manager

Cheryl Castorino is the steady hand behind the scenes at Claudia Leah Design. Originally from New Jersey, she has called Naples home for more than 22 years and brings over 17 years of experience in the interior design industry.

As Office Manager, Cheryl ensures the studio runs seamlessly, from managing schedules and coordinating projects to supporting the design team and keeping every detail organized. Known for her calm demeanor and sharp attention to detail, she plays a vital role in creating a smooth, welcoming experience for both clients and team members.

Before joining Claudia Leah Design, Cheryl held an executive position with an international interior decorating franchise, giving her a strong foundation in operations, client communication, and business management. Her steady presence helps ensure that every project moves forward with clarity, efficiency, and care.

Ellie | Studio Greeter and Quality Control Officer

Every great design studio needs a little heart and at CLD, that’s Ellie. This Havanese-Dachshund mix takes her role seriously, greeting clients with a wag and keeping a close eye on every fabric (and rug!) sample that crosses her path. Known for her impeccable taste in comfort (and sunny nap spots!), Ellie reminds us that true luxury means always feeling at home.
